Varnishes for protection and revitalization of surfaces
A number of special varnishes from the Synpa production portfolio solve the protection of surfaces against weather, water, UV radiation or the revitalization of surfaces after their long-term exposure to these influences.
LV CC 103
LV CC 103 is a special transparent varnish with high resistance to weather, UV stability and gloss - LV CC 103. The product is designed for repainting or renovation of UV unstable substrates for outdoor use, such as older or newer stone carpets. It is applied very simply with a roller in one layer crosswise (achieving a coating thickness of approx. 20-40 microns). It is also characterized by a very pleasant yield of the application mixture, which protects 8-14 m2 of surface from one liter of varnish (depending on the grain size of the substrate). The tests proved a very effective UV protection and gloss level even after 1000 hours in a test chamber simulating the effect of the weather (1000 hours = approx. 3.4 years) see. picture. LV CC 103 not only prolongs the life of the surface, but also maintains its pleasant appearance.
VEROPAL TC8 is a highly hydrophobic solution acrylate resin designed to protect stone surfaces, especially sanitary marble. It is a clear viscous liquid with high adhesion to the substrate and significant resistance to moisture and abrasion.
Veropal D709 is a special varnish for restoration work to protect metal, concrete, stone and wood from the weather, but it is also suitable for interiors. It is also used as a binder for silver and gold bronze exposed to the weather or for gluing and protecting optical glass.
Veropal UV 40 is a raw material balanced acrylate solution with very effective protective effects against UVA and UVB. It is mainly used for strengthening or surface treatment of porous and non-porous materials, where the presence of solvent is not a problem. Advantageously, the protective properties of VEROPAL UV-40 are used for films that protect the substrate from long-term UV radiation of a natural nature, even from artificial sources. It is widely used especially for restoration work. In this function, it can also be used for fixing graphics, angular and chalk drawings or pastels. It can also be used as a hot melt adhesive for glass and ceramics without the risk of yellowing.
