Construction is a dynamically developing field in which many different products are used. Synpo develops and produces highly specialized products for this field in top quality – construction adhesives, durable binders and chemistry for stone carpets, epoxy resins for cast epoxy floors, highly effective and popular cleaners for PVC, protective and revitalization coatings, products for anti-corrosion protection of surfaces, etc.


Structural Adhesives

We produce structural adhesives with special properties – fast epoxy glue VEROPAL QUICK with a curing time of 10 minutes for wide range of substrates, high-strength glue VEROPAL SUPER, special VEROPAL JPVC for hardened and softened PVC and VEROPAL 14 for bonding of composite materials and electronic components.

VEROPAL QUICK

Description: VEROPAL QUICK is a unique very fast two-component construction epoxy adhesive with good peel and shear strength.
Application: For structural bonding of a wide range of substrates. Professional and hobby use.
Substrates: Metal structures, wood, ceramics, polymeric composite materials, such as glass fiber reinforced polyesters, epoxies (SMC), etc.,
Chemical base: 2K epoxide,
Viscosity before mixing: 5-15 Pa.s at 25 °C,
Viscosity after mixing: 10-20 Pa.s at 25 °C,
Workability time: 2-3 min,
Gelation time: 5-7 min,
Tg via DSC (°C): 50-60 °C.

VEROPAL 14

Description: VEROPAL 14 is a two-component epoxy adhesive curing at room temperature. The system has character of a thixotropic paste and after curing it shows a high degree of strength and high chemical resistance. The system is temperature resistant up to 120 °C and is able to fill joints up to 5 mm thick.
Application: For structural bonding of a wide range of substrates, but especially composite structures, bonding of electronic components.
Substrates: Metal components, reinforced composite materials (GRP, CFRP), ceramic materials, plastics (ABS, PA, PC...)
Chemical base: 2K epoxide,
Viscosity before mixing: Thixotropic,
Viscosity after mixing: Thixotropic,
Workability time: 60 min,
Tg via DSC (°C): 80-85 °C.

VEROPAL JPVC

Description: VEROPAL JPVC is a thixotropic adhesive based on tetrahydrofurane suitable for joining hard and softened PVC and for gluing of ABS,
Application: For gluing softened and hardened PVC (PVC foil, neodur pipes, lake foil, etc. Professional and hobby use.
Substrates: Softened and hardened PVC (PVC foil, neodur pipes, pond foil, etc.), ABS...
Chemical base: tetrahydrofurane,
Density at 23 °C: 0.95-1 g/cm3,
Material consumption: 250-400 g/m2.

VEROPAL SUPER

Description: VEROPAL SUPER is a unique hybrid epoxy two-component structural adhesive with high elongation of up to 55 % and at the same time with excellent peel and shear strength.
Application: For structural bonding of a wide range of substrates.
Substrates: Metal structures, wood, ceramics, polymeric composite materials, such as glass fiber reinforced polyesters, epoxies (SMC), etc. Some difficult-to-bond thermoplastic materials can also be bonded with the Veropal Super adhesive system.
Chemical base: 2K epoxide,
Viscosity before mixing: 5-15 Pa.s at 25 °C,
Viscosity after mixing: 15-25 Pa.s at 25 °C,
Workability time: 15-20 min,
Gelation time: 150 min,
Tg via DSC (°C): 70-80 °C.


Industrial Cleaners and Degreasers

Synpo produces highly effective cleaners and degreasers mainly for industrial applications for surface preparation before coating and also in construction for cleaning of PVC foils before welding. These products are very favored due to their excellent performance and efficiency.

CLEANER PVC VP 391

Cleaner PVC VP 391 is a special and very efficient for cleaning of PVC foils before welding. Designated for insulating membranes on flat roofs, terraces and under earth.

DEGREASER LV PC 213

Degreaser LV PC 213 is a universal material for metal, plastics and composite amterials before coating. Usable for removal of preservatives (waxes, oils, silicones).

For ferrous and non-ferrous metals, most of plastics and composites.

DEGREASER LV PC 403

Degreaser VP 403 is a special material for degreasing of surfaces made of polycarbonates and similar materials before coating. Usable for removal of preservatives (waxes, oils, silicones).

For polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, SMC composites.


Penetration and Impregnation of Surfaces

Preparation of the surface of materials is an important process step in the construction industry. It ensures functionality and service life of surface treatments or other steps. We produce several penetrating coatings for various applications and surfaces – quick VEROPAL PEN for concrete and wood, CHS EPOXY 474 with TELALIT 0492 under stone carpet or preparation of epoxy floors, waterborne VEROPAL PEN AQUA and an excellent adhesive bridge for coatings on plastics AKRYLMETAL VP 142.

VEROPAL PEN

Epoxy penetration for wood VEROPAL PEN is a fast resin that closes the pores in wood before it is used in combination with epoxy resin for tables. It helps to prevent releasing of air bubbles from wooden substrate to resin with closing of micropores.

  • Weight ratio 100 : 40,
  • Application with a brush. The surface has to be covered completely and carefully.
  • Penetratrion must be dry before the next step,
  • We recommend performing the penetration process 2 times,
  • Drying and curing time at 20 °C is approximately 3 hours,
  • For highly absorbing or porous surfaces or for stabilizing of lightly dusted wood, as well as for solid cohesive substrates.

Ready-to-use 1K adhesion primer for plastics.

CHS EPOXY 474 + TELALIT 0492

Description: Epoxy resin CHS-EPOXY 474 (component A) with the corresponding hardener TELALIT 0492 (component B) is designed for use low-viscosity epoxy system for normal or elevated temperature processing.

Use: Penetrating coating for concrete (for concrete with a moisture content of up to 10 %), also as a fine leveling material for concrete substrates. Forms an adhesive bridge for top coating epoxy systems, cast epoxy floor coverings, for stone carpets, etc.

  • Chemical base: 2-K epoxide,
  • Mixing ratio: 100 : 23 by weight,
  • Application temperature: Ideally 10-30 °C,
  • Application technique: Roller,
  • Workability time: 20 min. at 20 °C, 10 min. at 30 °C,
  • Material consumption: 0.2-0.7 kg/m2 for one coat (depending on the quality of the substrate and its porosity; apply 1-2 coats),
  • Drying: walkable after 24 hours.
VEROPAL PEN AQUA

Description: 2K waterborne epoxy resin..

Use: Penetrating coating for concrete. resistant transparent coating for wood (floors, parquets),

  • Chemical base: 2-K epoxide,
  • Mixing ratio: 100 : 26 by weight,
  • Thinning ratio for concrete: 1 : 1 with water,
  • Recommended thickness: 20-40 µm,
  • Application temperature: Ideally 10-30 °C,
  • Application technique: Roller,
  • Workability time: 70-80 min. at 20 °C,
  • Material consumption: 0.5 kg/m2 for one coat,
  • Drying: Touch-dry 5 hrs., through-dry 24 hrs. at 20 °C.

System for Stone Carpets

Binders for stone carpets are produced by our parent company Spolchemia. Epoxy binder CHS EPODUR STONE UV is the most widely used binder for stone carpets in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, and it is also sold under other private brands. We offer two materials for penetrating of underlying concrete – waterborne EPOSTYL 200V and penetration coating CHS EPOXY 474 + TELALIT 492. Revitalization coating LV CC 103 brightens old and faded stone carpets.

CHS EPODUR STONE UV

Description: Two-component low-viscosity UV-stable epoxy resin.

Use: Special system for the preparation of stone carpets  used as a final treatment in exteriors and interiors, for the restoration of damaged concrete, to extend life of concrete structures showing signs of degradation,

  • Chemical base: 2-K epoxide,
  • Mixing ratio: 100 : 43 by weight,
  • Addition of filler: 18-20 kg of aggregate per 1 kg of mixture,
  • Recommended thickness: 20-40 µm,
  • Application temperature: Ideally 10-30 °C,
  • Application technique: Masonry tools,
  • Workability time: 30 min. at 23 °C; 50 min. at 23°C in mix with filler,
  • Material consumption: 0.9 kg of binder and 16 kg of filler (1cm layer of carpet); 1.8 kg of binder and 33 kg of filler (2cm layer of carpet),
  • Drying: Walkable after 24 hours. Full load depending on ambient temperature 3-10 days.

REVITALIZING LV CC 103

Description: Revitalization/renovation coating for restoring of appearance and functionality of UV unstable surfaces. It creates a transparent top layer with high weather resistance, UV stability and gloss.

Use: Designed for indoor and outdoor use. Revitalization of old stone carpets, concrete floors, stones,

  • Chemical base: 2K acrylic polyurethane,
  • Hardening: Hardener LV BU 45N in a volume ratio of 3:1 (hardener supplied together with the coating),
  • Recommended thickness:  20-40 µm (one layer crosswise),
  • Application temperature: Ideally 20-30 °C without rain and high humidity,
  • Application technique: Roller,
  • Workability time: 1 hour at 20 °C,
  • Yield: 8-14 m2/liter,
  • Drying: 4 hrs. at 20 °C; walkable after 24 hours; full curing 10 days at 20 °C.
CHS EPOXY 474 + TELALIT 0492

Description: Epoxy resin CHS-EPOXY 474 (component A) with the corresponding hardener TELALIT 0492 (component B) is designed for use low-viscosity epoxy system for normal or elevated temperature processing.

  • Mixing ratio: 100 : 26 by weight,
  • Thinning ratio for concrete: 1 : 1 with water,

3D Floor

Epoxy cast 3D floors are a modern and attractive way to transform interiors and give them a unique look. These floors are made of epoxy resin, which is applied onto the substrate and creates a smooth and shiny surface layer. 3D effects and patterns are achieved either by artistically applying different colors and textures to the epoxy mixture, or by inserting of various flat objects (coins, beer coasters, beer crowns, stones, etc.) or by inserting of 3D wallpapers, pictures, photos, etc. This technology allows you to create floors with optical impression of depth and space, which can visually enlarge the room. Epoxy cast floors are abrasion and chemical resistant, suitable for residential use. They are seamless, therefore easy to maintain and clean.

VEROPAL 3D FLOOR PEN

Veropal 3D-Floor PEN is a two-component epoxy transparent resin for penetrating and sealing concrete, creating a perfect adhesion bridge between the substrate and the next layer of the Veropal 3D Floor epoxy floor.

VEROPAL 3D FLOOR BASE

Veropal 3D-Floor BASE is a two-component epoxy transparent resin that is colored with a suitable pigment paste to unify the colored base and to create a perfect adhesive bridge for the top layer of the Veropal 3D Floor epoxy floor.

VEROPAL 3D FLOOR TOP

Veropal 3D-Floor TOP is a two-component epoxy transparent resin for the top layer of the system cast clear epoxy floor Veropal 3D Floor, into which flat inert objects can be inserted according to one's imagination.


Professional Anticorrosive Coatings

Synpo is experienced anti-corrosion protection of metal materials – develops, modifies and produces very effective anticorrosion industrial coatings. We offer certified coating systems for the protection of corrosion aggressiveness C3 with a duration of 7 to 15 years, and for the protection of corrosion aggressiveness C4 with a duration of 7 and 15 years, respectively C3 15 to 25 years.

One coat direct to metal paint.

TWO-LAYERS SYSTEM AKRYLMETAL

AKRYLMETAL coating system for steel structures – LV EPS 033 (200 µm) as a base coat + LV AKZ 411 (80 µm) as a top coat – provides effective surface protection according to ISO 12944:2008 for the degree of corrosion aggressiveness C4 high, (service life over 15 years).

This system is suitable for the degree of corrosion aggressiveness C5-M (with an average life of 5-15 years) according to this standard.

TWO-LAYERS SYSTEM AKRYLMETAL

AKRYLMETAL coating system for steel structures – LV EPS 620 (1 layer 30-40 µm) as a base coat + LV AKZ 411 (2-3 layers, 110-120 µm) as a top coat – provides effective surface protection according to ISO 12944:2008 for the degree of corrosion aggressiveness C4 (with a medium life of 7-15 years).

The tests showed that for the degree of corrosion aggressiveness C3 a long service life of 15-25 years is provided.


Products for Protection and Revitalization

Effective protection of surfaces or their revitalization becomes more and more important topic. Thanks to our Nanotechnology center, we have developed and manufacture interesting products for protecting surfaces against weather, water, UV radiation or for their revitalization. Hydrophobic coating VEROPAL TC8 is often used for outdoor protection of stone. VEROPAL D709 is designated for restoration of statues or stone or wooden objects. VEROPAL UV40 effectively protects against the effects of UV radiation, strengthens and improves the surface of porous and non-porous materials. LV CC 103 revitalizes the old and slightly degraded surface of the stone carpet.

VEROPAL TC8

VEROPAL TC8 is a highly hydrophobic solvent-based acrylate resin designed to protect stone surfaces, especially sanitary marble. It is a clear viscous liquid with high adhesion to the substrate and significant resistance to moisture and abrasion.

VEROPAL D709
  • Solution of acrylic resin in organic solvents,
  • Developed for restoration of metals, concrete, stone and wood in exterior and interior. Excellent binder for silver and golden metallic pigments exposed to weather. It can be used for bonding and protection of optical glass,
