Wood epoxy primer Veropal PEN

Wood epoxy primer Veropal PEN

Wood epoxy primer VEROPAL PEN is a fast resin that closes pores in wood before it is further embedded in epoxy resin for tables. In order to keep the casting with little or no bubbles after the resin has been cured, the air contained in the wood pores and micro pores must be sealed. The sealed pores prevent loosening of air in the casting resin during the curing.

VEROPAL PEN as a two-component resin is applied in a weight ratio of 100: 40, both for highly absorbent surfaces, porous surfaces or for stabilizing slightly rotten wood, as well as for solid cohesive substrates. The most common application is a brush, which we try to paint all pieces of wood. Let the primer dry on the surface of wood, we recommend to perform the sealing process 2 times. The drying and curing time at 20 ° C is approximately 3 hours.

ATTENTION!!! Prepare VEROPAL PEN primer (by weighing on the scale) in smaller volumes, eg 350 ml. Apply it immediately after 2-3 minutes of mixing, occasionally mix it while dipping the brush ... Uncontrolled exothermic reaction in the center of larger volume can occur. In this process the resin cures very quickly, the temperature quickly grows and the resin hardens quickly and occasionally cracks and yellows (see photos).
