Anticorrosive Industrial Coatings

Synpo is experienced anti-corrosion protection of metal materials – develops, modifies and produces very effective anticorrosion industrial coatings. We offer certified coating systems for the protection of corrosion aggressiveness C3 with a duration of 7 to 15 years, and for the protection of corrosion aggressiveness C4 with a duration of 7 and 15 years, respectively C3 15 to 25 years.

AKRYLMETAL LV AKZ 411

One coat direct to metal paint.

  • One coat direct to metal paint with anticorrosive, filling and decorative effect,
  • Resistant to oils, petrol and chemical substances (acids, alkalis),
  • For perfectly derusted and degreased metallic or plastic surfaces,
  • Steel substrate protection for corrosivity category C3,
  • Contains anticorrosive pigment and UV stabilisers,
  • Can be customized for application on plastics without the use of adhesion primer or plastics filler (LV AKZ 421),
  • In RAL colours,
  • Very wide use in industrial manufacturing,
  • Gloss 25-70 %.

TWO-LAYERS SYSTEM AKRYLMETAL

AKRYLMETAL coating system for steel structures – LV EPS 033 (200 µm) as a base coat + LV AKZ 411 (80 µm) as a top coat – provides effective surface protection according to ISO 12944:2008 for the degree of corrosion aggressiveness C4 high, (service life over 15 years).

This system is suitable for the degree of corrosion aggressiveness C5-M (with an average life of 5-15 years) according to this standard.

TWO-LAYERS SYSTEM AKRYLMETAL

AKRYLMETAL coating system for steel structures – LV EPS 620 (1 layer 30-40 µm) as a base coat + LV AKZ 411 (2-3 layers, 110-120 µm) as a top coat – provides effective surface protection according to ISO 12944:2008 for the degree of corrosion aggressiveness C4 (with a medium life of 7-15 years).

The tests showed that for the degree of corrosion aggressiveness C3 a long service life of 15-25 years is provided.


Industrial Degreasers

Synpo produces highly effective cleaners and degreasers mainly for industrial applications for surface preparation before coating and also in construction for cleaning of PVC foils before welding. These products are very favored due to their excellent performance and efficiency. LV PC 403 degreaser is used for degreasing composite materials, polystyrene, polycarbonate, LV PC 213 is a universal degreaser for effective degreasing and cleaning of all other surfaces. LV PC 417 industrial cleaner is excellent for cleaning and flushing spray guns and coating line piping.

DEGREASER LV PC 213

Cleaner PVC VP 391 is a special and very efficient for cleaning of PVC foils before welding. Designated for insulating membranes on flat roofs, terraces and under earth.

DEGREASER LV PC 403

Degreaser LV PC 213 is a universal material for metal, plastics and composite amterials before coating. Usable for removal of preservatives (waxes, oils, silicones).

For ferrous and non-ferrous metals, most of plastics and composites.

CLEANER LV PC 417

Degreaser VP 403 is a special material for degreasing of surfaces made of polycarbonates and similar materials before coating. Usable for removal of preservatives (waxes, oils, silicones).

For polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, SMC composites.


Construction Adhesives

We produce specialized VEROPAL structural adhesives, which are also used in a wide range of engineering fields. Fast epoxy glue VEROPAL QUICK with a curing time of 10 minutes glues a wide range of substrates including metals and non-metals. High-strength glue VEROPAL SUPER, or VEROPAL 14 are created for gluing composite materials or electronic components.

VEROPAL QUICK

Description: VEROPAL QUICK is a unique very fast two-component construction epoxy adhesive with good peel and shear strength.
Application: For structural bonding of a wide range of substrates. Professional and hobby use.
Substrates: Metal structures, wood, ceramics, polymeric composite materials, such as glass fiber reinforced polyesters, epoxies (SMC), etc.,
Chemical base: 2K epoxide,
Viscosity before mixing: 5-15 Pa.s at 25 °C,
Viscosity after mixing: 10-20 Pa.s at 25 °C,
Workability time: 2-3 min,
Gelation time: 5-7 min,
Tg via DSC (°C): 50-60 °C.

VEROPAL SUPER

Description: VEROPAL SUPER is a unique hybrid epoxy two-component structural adhesive with high elongation of up to 55 % and at the same time with excellent peel and shear strength.
Application: For structural bonding of a wide range of substrates.
Substrates: Metal structures, wood, ceramics, polymeric composite materials, such as glass fiber reinforced polyesters, epoxies (SMC), etc. Some difficult-to-bond thermoplastic materials can also be bonded with the Veropal Super adhesive system.
Chemical base: 2K epoxide,
Viscosity before mixing: 5-15 Pa.s at 25 °C,
Viscosity after mixing: 15-25 Pa.s at 25 °C,
Workability time: 15-20 min,
Gelation time: 150 min,
Tg via DSC (°C): 70-80 °C.

VEROPAL 14

Description: VEROPAL 14 is a two-component epoxy adhesive curing at room temperature. The system has character of a thixotropic paste and after curing it shows a high degree of strength and high chemical resistance. The system is temperature resistant up to 120 °C and is able to fill joints up to 5 mm thick.
Application: For structural bonding of a wide range of substrates, but especially composite structures, bonding of electronic components.
Substrates: Metal components, reinforced composite materials (GRP, CFRP), ceramic materials, plastics (ABS, PA, PC...)
Chemical base: 2K epoxide,
Viscosity before mixing: thixotropic,
Viscosity after mixing: thixotropic,
Workability time: 60 min,
Tg via DSC (°C): 80-85 °C.

QUICK PUTTY FOR METAL LV PTE 530

Polyester putty with short workability.

  • Car repairing, sandable after short drying, for small surfaces,
  • For sealing of metallic substrates, levelling of mild unevennesse,
  • For perfectly dergreased and derusted surfaces; old films have to be cleaned and degreased,
  • Surface has to be painted with anticorrosive coating Akrylmetal LV PL, LV AKZ, LV EPS, or with alkyd or epoxy waterborne coating. Freshly galvanized sheets need reactive overcoat (S 2008),
  • Workability 5 min/20 °C.
CLEAR COAT LV CC 220

2K PUR acrylic clear coat with quick drying.

  • Transparent top coat with high resistance to weather and UV stability,

ENAMEL FOR METAL LV EM 10

2K PUR enamel, acrylic, high solids.

  • Top coatings of metal and plastic objects, suitable especially for  surface finish of vehicles and quality industrial coating,
  • Complying with VOC limits <420 (category – B/d),
  • Color according to RAL color charts, SYNPO, car brands or measured on a sample.

Polyester putty with high resistance to high temperature, up to 200 °C.

  • Used under baking (powder) coatings is thin layer,
  • Sealing of metallic substrates, car bodies, levelling of mild unevennesses. Short-term resistance to 200 °C,
  • Surface has to be painted with anticorrosive coating Akrylmetal LV PL, LV AKZ, LV EPS, or with alkyd or epoxy waterborne coating. Freshly galvanized sheets need reactive overcoat (S 2008),

CLEAR COAT LV CC 100

2K PUR acrylic clear coat.

EPOXY PRIMER LV EPS 620

Anticorrosive epoxy primer.

  • Primer for objects made of iron, but also of light and non-ferrous metals (copper, brass, aluminium) and galvanized metals,
  • Excellent mechanical characteristics, elasticity,
  • Allows “wet to wet” application on layers made of LV AKZ, LV PL and LV EM.
FILLER FOR METAL LV PL 340

Filler for metallic substrates in industrial manufacturing.

  • Priming layer for sanding,

ONE-COAT FOR PLASTICS LV AKZ 421

ANTISTATIC ENAMEL FOR PLASTICS LV EM 014

Antistatic 2K PUR acrylic enamel for plastics.

  • Hiding top coat for treatment of plastics,
  • Excellent adhesion to most of plastics on the market,
  • High chemical and weather resistance,
  • Surface resistance <1 GW according to ČSN EN 600 79-0 (23 ± 2 °C, relative humidity 50 ± 5 %)
  • Color shades according to color charts RAL, SYNPO, automotive brands; could be tinted according to your sample.
FILLER FOR PLASTICS LV PL 370

Highly resistant filler for coating of plastics.

  • Priming layer intended for sanding,
  • Contains special additives ensuring adhesion to plastics,
  • No adhesion primer is required,
  • For perfectly degreased and derusted surfaces,
