Nanostructured Polymer Center
We focus on research and development of special types of polymer binders, surface modifiers for nanostructures and with formulation of polymer systems which contain nanomaterials. Our labs are equipped for their synthesis as well as for their fundamental characterization.
Materials
- Carbon-based nanomaterials: graphite, graphene, nanotubes,
- Layered nanoparticles: clays, layered double hydroxides (LDH), phosphonates,
- Nanoparticles based on metals (e.g. Ag, ZnO, TiO₂),
- Polymers for the preparation of nanofibers and nanolayers,
- Hydrogels with defined rheological properties.
