Light Curable Polymeric Systems with Innovative Photoinitiators for 3D Print and Other Applications
SYNPO is the holder of the project "Light curable polymeric systems with innovative photoinitiators for 3D print and other applications", which is co-financed by Technologická agentura ČR (Call for proposals STA02024FW010, project number FW10010110).
The goal of the project is to develop new photoinitiators of radical polymerization and their subsequent utilization in light-cured polymer systems. The following parameters of photoinitiators are required: absorption spectra overlapped with the LED source of 3D printer (405 nm), colorless, soluble and one-component organic substance with a high quantum yield of the photolysis and an economically feasible synthesis. In parallel, the project will also focus on polymer systems suitable for curing with the prepared photoinitiators, so that the project will result in a complete system of light-curable products suitable for use as coatings, adhesives and resins for 3D printing by the photopolymerization methods.
