Primers and One-Coat Paints for Metals

One-coat direct-to-metal paints can be applied directly to a substrate, and they form a surface in top coat quality, providing protection against weathering and UV radiation. They are also used as a primary anti-corrosion layer under top polyurethane coatings. These materials contain anti-corrosive additives ensuring long-term corrosion resistance and UV stabilizers for long-term weather resistance. We produce thick-layer and thin-layer primers for various substrates (iron, steel, non-ferrous metals – aluminum, copper, brass, etc.) in RAL shades. They have high weather resistance and long-lasting protection effect.

Thick-Layer Materials

LV EPS 033

Epoxy primer, thick-layer, two-component.

  • Anticorrosive protection for environments with corrosion level C2-C4 and C5 for blasted structural steel, bridges, conveyors, external coating of containers, transport tanks,

  • Cannot be applied on “wet” LV AKZ, LV PL a LV EM; drying is required,

  • Recommended thickness of a coat is 50-125 µm of dry film, but up to 300 µm of dry film can be applied in one step.

LV AKZ 519

One-coat direct-to-metal paint, for thick-layer coats.

  • One-coat direct-to-metal paint with anticorrosive, filling and decorative effect,

  • To be applied in thick layers,

  • For perfectly derusted and degreased metal or plastic surfaces,

  • Anticorrosive class C3 does not require blasting – advantage over competitors,

  • Contains anticorrosive pigment and UV stabilizers,

  • In RAL colors,

  • Gloss up to 90 %,

  • Very wide use in industrial manufacturing (approx. 150 µm of dry film, gloss, high-pressure application).

LV AKZ 541

Very-high-solid acrylic primer, filling and covering, thick-layer, glossy, with reduced VOC content.

  • One-coat direct-to-metal paint with anticorrosive, filling and decorative effect,
  • Very low VOC content
    <380 g /l,
  • Application in thick layers on perfectly derusted and degreased metallic or plastic surfaces,
  • Anti-corrosion class C3-C4 without blasting requirement – an advantage over the competition,
  • Contains anti-corrosion pigment and UV stabilizers,
  • RAL shades,
  • Gloss up to 90 %,
  • Very wide use in industrial production in areas with strict requirements for reducing VOC emissions.

LV AKZ 511

  • Resistant to oils, petrol and chemical substances (acids, alkalis),

  • For perfectly derusted and degreased metallic or plastic surfaces,

  • Steel substrate protection for corrosivity category C3,

  • Contains anticorrosive pigment and UV stabilizers,

  • Can be customized for application on plastics without the use of adhesion primer or plastics filler (LV AKZ 421),

  • In RAL colors,

  • Very wide use in industrial manufacturing,

  • Gloss 25-70 %.
