Putties for Metal
We produce our own polyester putties/sealants with different workability. From 5-minutes sealants for small sealing to sealants with a long workability (45 minutes) which were developed for sealing large surfaces. We also offer temperature-resistant sealant which is used for sealing under baking powder paints.
BLV PTE 0530
Polyester putty with short workability.
- Car repairing, sandable after short drying, for small surfaces,
- For sealing of metallic substrates, levelling of mild unevenness,
- For perfectly dergreased and derusted surfaces; old films have to be cleaned and degreased,
- Surface has to be painted with anticorrosive coating Akrylmetal LV PL, LV AKZ, LV EPS, or with alkyd or epoxy waterborne coating. Freshly galvanized sheets need reactive overcoat (S 2008),
- Workability 5 min/20 °C.
LV PTE 2003
Polyester putty with standard workability.
- Sealing in thick layer without cracking,
- For industrial production, sealing of large surfaces, long workability,
- For sealing of metallic substrates, levelling of small unevenness,
- For perfectly dergreased and derusted surfaces; old films have to be cleaned and degreased,
- Surface has to be painted with anticorrosive coating Akrylmetal LV PL, LV AKZ, LV EPS, or with alkyd or epoxy waterborne coating. Freshly galvanized sheets need reactive overcoat (S 2008),
- Workability 20 min/20 °C.
LV PTE 4503
Polyester putty with prolonged workability.
- Sealing of metallic substrates, car bodies, levelling of mild unevenness,
- For industrial production, rolling stock; sealing of extra large surfaces, very long workability,
- For perfectly dergreased and derusted surfaces; old films have to be cleaned and degreased,
- Surface has to be painted with anticorrosive coating Akrylmetal LV PL, LV AKZ, LV EPS, or with alkyd or epoxy waterborne coating. Freshly galvanized sheets need reactive overcoat (S 2008),
- Workability 45 min/20 °C.
LV PTE 0530 V
Polyester putty with high resistance to high temperature, up to 200 °C.
- Used under baking (powder) coatings is thin layer,
- Sealing of metallic substrates, car bodies, levelling of mild unevenness. Short-term resistance to 200 °C,
- Surface has to be painted with anticorrosive coating Akrylmetal LV PL, LV AKZ, LV EPS, or with alkyd or epoxy waterborne coating. Freshly galvanized sheets need reactive overcoat (S 2008),
- Workability 5 min/20 °C.
