About Applying of Paints

Application in test laboratory YES/NO? From the point of view of the laboratory's impartiality, the samples should be applied on the client's side, ideally by a non-participating external application company. These are mainly evidential tests of the durability of the coating system according to ØSD (TKP19B) or ISO 12944-6,9.

In other cases and in those when the client (customer) does not have the option of applying samples, either planar or 3D, we at SYNPO a.s. equipped with a paint box including equipment for HPLV sample preparation for tests.

The samples are also sprayed from the back and the edges are sealed, mostly with liquid chlorinated rubber, which has proven itself very well on the edges.
The video shows the application of 100 microns dry thickness using 2K-PUR paint from our Akrylmetal series on a blasted steel substrate (Sa 2.5 ISO 8501-1) and a substrate prepared by the new ACR methodology.
