Meeting of the Consortium of the National Centre for Competence in Polymeric Materials

A meeting of the consortium of the National Centre of Competence - Polymer Materials and Technologies for the 21st Century took place in Zlín on November 7th, 2025. During the session, two projects in which SYNPO is actively involved were presented, among others.

DP012 – Biopolymers for agrochemical applications (BioAgro)
The aim is to develop a fully biodegradable biopolymer material intended for fertilizer coating, enabling the creation of nitrogen slow-release and controlled-release fertilizers with higher efficiency and lower environmental impact.

DP015 – Utilisation of 2nd Generation Biopolymer Feedstock Sources for Value-added Products (2GVALUE)
The project aims to introduce a validated technology for processing second-generation (non-food) raw materials into precursors of chemical and food products with higher added value.

The project National Centre for Competence in Polymeric Materials and Technologies for the 21st Century is co-funded with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the National Centers of Competence program.
