Primers and One-Coat Paints for Plastics

One-coat paints for plastics can be applied directly to a plastic or laminate substrate. They act as a primer and top coat. Akrylmetal paints for plastics contain additives ensuring adhesion to plastic and laminate substrates, as well as UV stabilizers for long-term weather resistance. We manufacture colors according to RAL color charts or according to provided samples.

VP 400

2K PUR acrylic filler for polycarbonate. This coating does not dissolve and protects it against next degradation. It is suitable for painting the following substrates: Polycarbonate, polymethylmethacrylate (plexiglass), polystyrene, SMC composites.
Surface has to be degreased (degreaser VP 403), lightly sanded with sandpaper 400/600) and degreased/cleaned again. These shades are available as standard: RAL 9003, RAL 9005 and RAL 7035 (other RAL shades on request).

LV AKZ 421

One-coat (primer + top coat) for plastic substrates.

  • Direct adhesion to the majority of manufactured plastics and laminates,

  • Filling and decorative effect,

  • Resistant to oils, petrol and chemical substances (acids, alkalis),

  • For perfectly degreased surfaces,

  • Contains UV stabilizers,

  • In RAL color shades,

  • Wide use in industrial manufacturing,

  • Gloss 25-65 %.

LV AKZ 424

Anti-graffiti one-coat paint for plastics.

  • Direct adhesion to the majority of manufactured plastics and laminates,

  • Paint with anti-graffiti finish; cannot be overcoated or plastered by stickers; resistant to graffiti vandalism,

  • Suitable e.g. for street furniture and public transport vehicles,

  • Resistant to oils, petrol and chemical substances (acids, alkalis),

  • For perfectly degreased plastic surfaces,

  • Contains UV stabilizers,

  • In RAL color shades,

  • Gloss 25-65 %.
