Texture Analyzers

Texture analyzers utilize uni-axial compression and tension forces in combination with a selection from an extensive list of probes, grips and fixtures to test a wide variety of food, personal care products, pharmaceuticals, packaging and industrial materials.

Texture Analyzer CTX

Texture Analyzer CTX

The CTX usability features allow for easy set up to get you up and running quickly. Whether you are testing the consistency of pills and tablets, the peel ability of a yogurt lid, or the tensile strength of lipstick, the new CTX will meet your ever-growing testing needs.

  • Provides a "real life" insight into physical properties,
  • Interchangeable load cells for optimal flexibility (eight choices ranging from 100 g to 100 kg),

  • Easy-to-read display and easy-to-use intuitive control,

  • Extended boom travels up to 280 mm for longer reach testing,

  • High Precision: 500 Hz data output rate captures the precise moment there is a change to your sample,

  • The choice of three adjustable base tables allows for the versatility of sample testing,

  • 21CFR compliant with optional TexturePro Software.

Texture Analyzer CT3

When texture changes, you need answers fast— not a complex setup. CT3 (Compression and Tension) is built for quick, repeatable testing in stand-alone mode. Using standard methods, QC teams can run simple pass/fail checks and make confident, repeatable decisions for routine production and batch release.

  • Fast checks for incoming materials, in-process control, and batch release,
  • Stand-alone operation with built-in test modes reduces setup steps and training time,
  • Standard test modes plus calibration check support repeatable method setup and QC workflows,
  • Compression and tension testing support rapid quality control pass/fail analysis.
  • Choice of load range matches product strength and sensitivity needs,
  • Flexible probe and fixtures expand sample sizes and application coverage.
